Introduction

Supplier-WSA, with a history of 40 years and fixed assets of more than RMB 15 million Yuan, is the largest state-owned enterprise in China which specialized in the production of wheelchairs and rehabilitation devices. There are 200 staffs and workers in the factory, 30 percent of which is professional technical personnel.

In 1990, we cooperated with a German supplier who is famous for its rehabilitation devices, and imported from them full set of the technology and equipment for wheelchair production, which greatly improved our productivity and the quality of products. By ten years efforts, we have produced more than 30 types of products including manual wheelchair, hand-cycle, electric wheelchair and so on. Now the annual output reaches 60 thousand units. According to the demand of the market, we have developed about 10 sorts of rehabilitation apparatus, such as walking aids, commode chair, chair (frame) for demibain, crutch, stick etc.

Our products have passed the inspection not only by National Prosthetics Testing Center, but also by the authoritative international commodity institution. (Tested according to test procedures of the ISO 7176 Part 8, maximum user mass:250lb). We also obtained market access certificates for several countries, such as FDA -USA. We have passed ISO 9002.

In recent years, we have been selling our products to many countries and regions throughout the world as well as domestic market. The export amount covers 30 percent of the total output value. The high quality and satisfactory after service of our products obtain good reputation from our customers.

The aim which we realize and will continue to strive for is to become the best rehabilitation apparatus producing enterprise in China.
